Point of Sale
Sell at the counter, and close the till on time.
The cashier scans the products, types a weight and takes payment on one screen. If the queue is long, the cashier can park a basket and serve the next customer. Stock moves when the ticket completes, and closing the till writes the invoices and the receipts by itself.
What it does
Sell at the till
Scan or tap the products, type a weight, and take cash, a CIB or EDAHABIA card, or both on one ticket. A cashier can keep up to six baskets open and ring them up one at a time.
Every sale on its ticket
Each sale and each refund is a ticket, so the list is the history of what the tills sold. Find any ticket by its customer, its cashier or its day.
Open and close the till
A session opens on the float in the drawer. It closes on the cash that the cashier counts, against the cash that the tickets say should be there. A chart shows what the tills took each day, over the weeks.
One register per till
Each register sells from its own warehouse, at its own price list or at the organization's default list. A product with no price on that list sells at its base price.
